Muna Haddad - Prayer Counselor

Muna Haddad is the founder of Love Unlocked, a faith-based ministry devoted to helping individuals discover healing, purpose, and their true identity in Christ. What began as a small act of obedience to God’s prompting has grown into a movement serving aged-out foster youth, survivors of human trafficking, women and children in shelters, those struggling with addiction, and individuals experiencing homelessness.

Through outreach events, mentorship, and creative programs, Love Unlocked provides the keys of hope, helping people break free from fear, rejection, and trauma while uncovering who they were created to be in God. Its dance, music, and art therapy programs encourage expressive movement and creativity as tools for emotional healing and spiritual renewal. These initiatives foster self-awareness, confidence, and joy while restoring a sense of belonging and divine purpose.

Raised in Stockton, California, Muna grew up in a loving Christian family that taught her that anything is possible if you just believe. She has been married for 20 years to her soulmate, and together they have two wonderful boys who bring joy and purpose to her life.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific, Muna began her career as a teacher and drama director at a private Christian school. She has taught for over ten years throughout her career, discovering her passion for creative ministry and for helping others grow in faith and confidence through the arts.

In 2013, she graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Theological Studies and Pastoral Counseling. Muna has served as a ministry leader at the Christian Arabic Church since high school, faithfully guiding children and youth through worship, discipleship, and community outreach. Her heart for raising up a generation grounded in identity and truth continues to shape her ministry.

While working as an Engage Life Director at an assisted living community, the Lord birthed a new calling in Muna’s heart. There she began an onsite prayer ministry and Bible study that became a place of hope and healing for residents. One day, a woman in the group asked for prayer for her foster grandchild who was aging out of the system and struggling with fear and instability. As Muna reflected on her own blessed upbringing, the Holy Spirit gave her a vision to reach children and families in similar situations.

Around that time, Muna’s friend Stephanie approached her with the desire to start a women’s nonprofit focused on networking and community connection. Together they combined Stephanie’s vision of uniting women with Muna’s heart for helping foster youth in need. Out of this partnership, Women Walking in Purpose was born, a ministry that brought women together from all walks of life to serve, heal, and grow in Christ. As the ministry expanded, God began opening doors beyond the original vision, leading them to serve not only aged-out foster youth but also trafficked victims, women and children in shelters, individuals struggling with addiction, and those experiencing homelessness. Over time, Women Walking in Purpose grew and evolved into what is now known as Love Unlocked, a ministry dedicated to unlocking hearts through God’s unconditional love and helping people find their true identity in Him.

Muna currently serves as a Hospice Chaplain with Noble Hospice, where she has ministered for over four years, offering spiritual and emotional care to patients and families during life’s most sacred moments. Her role reflects her deep compassion and commitment to bringing the love and peace of Christ into every season of life.

Beyond her ministry work, Muna has spent years building bridges throughout her community. She has partnered with local nonprofits, schools, and business leaders to bring hope, strengthen families, and create pathways for growth and opportunity. Her passion for collaboration has inspired change across multiple sectors, helping to unite faith, education, and service all for God’s glory.

She has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth and has been a auxiliary member for the Child Abuse Prevention Council, where she helped advocate for children’s safety, healing, and protection. These experiences have deepened her passion for reaching vulnerable youth and families and for creating safe spaces where love and faith can bring lasting change.

Over the years, Muna has also served on several nonprofit boards and as an Enhancement Specialist at a Christian school, developing worship arts and creative therapy programs such as flag worship, music therapy, and healing arts. These programs have since been implemented in local shelters and international organizations, touching countless lives through the power of worship and creative expression.

Muna also leads Identi-Tea Ministry, a women’s ministry entrusted to her by a dear friend who, in obedience to God’s direction, passed the mantle into her care. Through Identi-Tea, Muna helps women embrace their God-given identity, teaching them how to live fully free and confident in who Christ says they are.

She has served on the Pray California team and currently serves on the Police Clergy Board of Stanislaus County, standing in prayer and partnership with her community and local leadership.

God continues to open doors through Love Unlocked to bring hope, healing, and restoration to those in need. She considers it a privilege to be part of God’s great plan, helping others encounter His love, healing, and purpose through prayer, worship, and the revelation of their true identity in Christ.
