Lina Haddad - Health, Fitness & Life Skills

Lina Haddad provided practical health, nutrition, physical wellness, and life-skills education for aged-out foster youth and survivors of human trafficking, many of whom were never taught basic cooking, exercise, or self-care due to instability, trauma, or lack of consistent adult guidance. She helps to restore knowledge, confidence, structure, and support so participants can build healthy habits and live stable, independent lives.
Lina develops and oversee hands-on cooking classes for aged-out foster youth and survivors of human trafficking. She teaches foundational life skills including how to prepare simple, healthy meals; kitchen safety and hygiene; meal planning on a limited budget; grocery shopping skills; and understanding basic nutrition. She places an emphasis on cooking as an essential life skill, a form of self-care, and a foundation for long-term health.
Lina leads accessible exercise and movement classes appropriate for beginners and individuals at varying fitness levels. She teaches the importance of physical activity for overall health, stress reduction, emotional regulation, and confidence building. She Introduces basic strength training, stretching, mobility, and cardio exercises that can be done with minimal or no equipment. She encourages consistency, body awareness, and safe movement practices.
Lina ensures all wellness, cooking, and exercise instruction is trauma-informed, non-shaming, and empowering. She creates a safe and supportive learning environment that respects personal boundaries, physical limitations, and individual healing journeys. She emphasizes choice, encouragement, and restoration rather than performance or appearance.
