Born in Sun Valley, California, Charlotte spent her childhood years there before moving to Stockton, Ca. Life was hard for Charlotte and her family, but the love and dedication they had for each other saw them through the heartaches. At the age of 21, Charlotte heard God call her name, and her feet were set on a path to knowing this loving God who called her out of the darkness and called her His own.
 
Her journey to freedom has been a long and hard one that has also been filled with hope, joy, and supernatural strength.  Charlotte carries this hope and longs for others to know it too.  She believes we can make a difference in the lives of others both individually and work together, for together, we are powerful, pushing back against the darkness as love is being unlocked!
 
Charlotte has been married 25 years to her husband, David. Together they started VAS Security Systems which grew to be a multimillion-dollar company. They have three beautiful daughters Hannah, Sarah, and Lilah. Through the years, Charlotte has followed God’s leading to go places and do things she would never have imagined possible. Even now God has entrusted her and her husband with the restoration of Frank Sinatra’s missing “Rat Pack” classic collectible car, the only car from his collection missing and rotting away for decades! After it’s restoration, they will auction the car and donate the proceeds to Love Unlocked.

There have been many times when her husband thought she was crazy, but by God’s grace, he went along and partnered with her through many adventures. Together they have stepped out in faith and gone too far away lands and done things she has felt unqualified to do, but through it all she has learned that God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called!  1 Corinthians 13:1-13
