Ashley Green - Treasurer

Ashley was born and raised in Hayward, CA. As a toddler, her parents divorced and her father stepped up to take care of her and her brother so her mother would not be on welfare. There were a lot of firsts which she had to figure out herself, and her father’s hard working skills were instilled in her at a young age. She began working and driving at the age 16 and was the first in the family to graduate from a four year college. In 2007, Ashley graduated from CSU Chico with a BS in Business Administration.
Prior to graduation, she received a position offer from Brown Armstrong Accountancy Corporation where she currently works as an Audit Partner. While in school she stayed involved on campus as well, with the Alpha Chi Sorority, Accounting Society, and CAVE looking for ways to give back. She moved to Bakersfield, CA to begin her career at the CPA firm and ended up finding what was missing in her life, giving her life to Christ. While in Bakersfield Ashley was involved with the Active 20-30 Golden Empire #1038 organization serving as treasurer from 2008-2010 and R.O.S.E. (Realizing Options for Student Excellence) Mentoring Program from 2008-2010. She worked her way up from staff accountant to Audit Partner originally starting in Bakersfield and then moved to Stockton in 2012 when the office was opened.
Ashley obtained her official Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2013 and has been involved with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) ever since. In 2015 she was recognized as CalCPA’s Young Emerging Professional of the Year for San Joaquin Chapter and in 2018 she was recognized as an Emerging Leader Women to Watch from CalCPA/AICPA. She was the Financial Literacy State Chair for CalCPA from 2017-2019. Ashley has a heart for giving and even though she doesn’t have children of her own, she is actively involved in the lives of her niece, nephew, god daughters, and friends’ children.
When she isn't working or volunteering, Ashley enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with family and friends, watching the 49ers, A's and Warriors games. Ashley has a passion to invest in others and can’t wait to share what she has learned over the years.
