Muna Haddad - President

Muna was born and raised in Stockton, CA, has been married for 10 years to her best friend, and together they have two beautiful boys. In 2005 Muna graduated from the University of the Pacific with her Bachelor’s degree in Communications, a minor in Education, and concentration Special Education. In 2013, Muna graduated with her Master’s degree from Liberty University in Theological Studies and Pastoral Counseling. Muna was a children’s pastor for 10+ years at the Christian Arabic Church. She has had the opportunity to be involved with many nonprofit boards that helped shape her view and lead her to where she is today. It was during a time while working at Atria Bayside Landing that Muna started an onsite prayer ministry and bible study. One day one of her residents who was involved in the group - Ira Maisha Lucas- was praying for her foster grandchild who was aging out and who’s personality was changing due to the fear of stability. As she reflected on her upbringing and the normalcy she experienced as a child, the Holy Spirit allowed her to see from a new perspective and laid it upon her heart to help these aged-out foster children! Her best friend Stephanie whose desire aligned with Muna’s also felt led to make an impact in whatever way she could! Together, Muna and Stephanie, began Women Walking in Purpose. Through years of praying with her chord (Crystal and Charlotte), the Lord began to reveal keys to open doors of hope in the lives of Gods children. Muna began walking in obedience to the call the Lord had placed on her heart! Her desire is to have a home for aged out girls that is full of love and direction. This home will be plenty different than what they have experienced in life. No longer expected to do so much in order to receive love in return. No more contingency-based love, just pure love given by the grace of God alone. This will be a place they will be able to find hope and purpose. Muna believes every child, youth, and young adult deserves to be loved and guided in all aspects. Muna feels privileged to be a part of Gods big plan.
